Local groups to benefit from Police Commissioner's Partnership Fund

10fed Medi 2013

The funding, called the Police Commissioner's Partnership Fund, is worth a total of up to £100,000 and has been allocated as part of the commissioning fund.

The funding available will be split into two tiers:

Tier 1 will be for bids that range up to £10,000, Tier 2 will be for bids from £10,001 to £25,000.

Applications are sought from now until October 18th from clubs, organisations and groups throughout Gwent.

The projects will also have to support other priorities outlined in the Commissioner's Police and Crime Plan: delivering the best quality of service available; to protect people from serious harm and to make the best use of resources and provide value for money Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner Ian Johnston said: "I am really pleased to offer this funding to organisations and groups that are working hard for the benefit of local communities. The funding available will be awarded to those contributing to our efforts to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. I welcome applications and will look forward to announcing those that have been successful"

From now until the 18th of October application forms and guidance can be obtained from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner website at www.gwent.pcc.police.uk.
