2] How many complaints of (i) racism and (ii) sexism were made to Gwent Police Crime Commissioner about Gwent police officers from 2019-2022?

3]What % of your force has had anti racism training?

4] What % of your police force are BAME?

5] What % of your police force are women?

6] How many stop and searches has Gwent Police Force done from 2019-August 2022, please provide a breakdown by postcode and ethnicity.

7] Please provide any documentation looking at the anti-racism Wales action plan

8] How many people have died in or following Gwent police custody since 2020?

Please disclose the total cost of running misconduct hearings from the earliest date in 2021 to the latest date available in 2022, depending on when your last report was ran. For Questions 1-4, do you collect data on those who have experienced sexual exploitation disaggregated across protected characteristics as defined by the Equality Act 2010, including age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage, civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation? Please provide the answers to Questions 1-4 for each characteristic listed if so.
6. Do you provide direct support for survivors to exit adult exploitation? If so, how many survivors have you supported in the last 3 financial years through this support?

Please can your organisation provide in Excel CSV format, the following information:

a) The number of roles in your association (expressed in numbers of FTE), that are mainly or exclusively focussed on issues of equality, diversity, or inclusivity. For example, this could include (amongst other guises) “EDI officers” or “diversity and inclusion project managers” but would not include general HR managers.

b) Either a) the pay band of each of these roles, or b) the combined total salaries for these roles. Whichever measure is more in accordance with your data preferences.

c) In the past 12 months the number of staff days across your organisation which have been committed to attending equality training programmes, whether internally run or with external consultants. (staff days = duration of the training programme multiplied by the number of staff in attendance for the course).

d) The contractual cost of any consultants hired, in the past twelve months, to provide any external training or advice on issues of diversity, equality, or inclusivity.

e)In the past twelve months, the number of staff days committed to attending conferences relating mainly or exclusively to matters of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. (duration of conference multiplied by the number of staff in attendance).

f) The costs of attending these conferences.

g) Membership costs the organisation pays for participation in equality charters such as the Stonewall Equality Champions, or Diversity and Inclusion Workplace champions.

I am a journalist with BBC News, and I would like to request information regarding police response to domestic abuse and neighbourhood crime-related 999 calls. If you believe this request could exceed the time/cost limit, please prioritise the most recent years and work backwards until the time/cost limit is reached.   

Of 999 calls reporting domestic abuse:  

1/ Please provide the median annual police response time (in seconds) to attend 999 calls reporting domestic abuse categorised as  

(i) grade 1 emergency,  

(ii) grade 2,  

(iii) grade 3, and  

(iv) all grades, for each financial year from 2017-18 up to and including the current financial year until 31 Aug 2022.  

Please also provide the total annual number of calls, target response time, and number of emergency incidents responded to within target time for each part of the question (i.e., by urgency grade).  

Grades 1 to 3 typically refer to an emergency response, a prompt response and a routine response.  

Please provide a description of the different grades (including expected response times to attend) used by the force if these differ.

4/ If possible within the cost/time limits, I would also like to know: How many domestic abuse incidents were subsequently recorded as domestic abuse crimes? Please do not include this question in the request if you think it would hit the cost limits, or engage any other exemption.

1. How many arrests have been made over the 5 years under the Vagrancy Act?
2. How many fines have been issued for begging over the past 5 years?
3. How many arrests have been made where the individual has no fixed abode – i.e. homeless – over the past 5 years?
4. Have Gwent Police used some kind of begging protocol – i.e. fines, displacement orders, etc – in the past 5 years?

Please could you under the freedom of information act let me know what processes you have in place for dyslexic and academically challenged people to submit police complaints

This is an information request relating to purchases of LGBT merchandise, visits to LGBT pride parades, and the wrapping of police vehicles in rainbow decorations

Please include the information for each of the following periods; 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22:

• Annual purchases of LGBT+ merchandise (for example, rainbow flags, bunting, lanyards, wristbands, stickers, balloons, pins) including the total quantity of LGBT+ merchandise purchased and the expenditure. Please provide a breakdown of what was purchased
• Annual expenditure on wrapping police vehicles in rainbow decorations and the number of vehicles wrapped. Please provide pictures if possible
• Whether or not the police force has attended any Pride events in the mentioned financial years, including which events, the number of officers which attended the events, and how much was spent attending each event

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.
