How many times did the PCC/Mayor write directly to the former Prime Minister Rt Hon Theresa May MP during her time in office both as prime minister and Home Secretary for the following reasons: A: Raising concerns that budget cuts were having a detrimental effect on policing B: Requested more money? How much was requested how much was given ( if any) C: Raised concerns that budget cuts were putting officers at risk

I have received a Notice of Intended Prosecution from Safety Camera Unit, Pontypridd. I will be replying with my driving details. I would like to know what the speed limit in place was, on the M4, jnc 23a to jnc 24 westbound, Gwent 503, on 12/08/19. My husband and I were going to holiday to cardiff, and I clearly remember there were temporary marking along the route showing different speed limits.

Can you please tell me how many complaints, either formal or informal, via email or written letter, have been received by the OPCC within the two years (1st August 2017 - 15th August 2019) with regards poor* management within Gwent Police's Data Management Department/Information Services team? *Poor management should be taken to mean any expression, indication or concern that the department is not running as efficiently as would be expected.

I am conducting research into the implications for communities of the College of Policing policy to ensure all entrants into Police Forces as Constables have obtained or will obtain a degree. I understand that the Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police has submitted a Judicial Review claiming it will cost his Force the equivalent of 40 Officers. Therefore it seems reasonable to assume that all Police Forces/PCCs have undertaken the same research. Can you please confirm :

1. There is a written record that your Force has considered the implications of this Policy.
2. The contents of this record, in terms of whom was present and the decision and
3. What are the implications for the Force in terms of abstractions ( equivalent Officers per day) if this Policy is introduced?

1. How many senior police officers of your force have allocated drivers and vehicles for their use?
2. What ranks are entitled to the use of a car and driver? How many officers is that?
3. What was the total annual cost (2018/19) of providing cars and drivers for use by senior police officers?
4. Do you, as PCC, have the use of a vehicle and driver? If so, at what cost?
5. Senior managers of other public sector organisations of comparable cost, size and complexity manage to fulfil their roles without having drivers and cars, what therefore is the justification and perceived public benefit which accrues as a result of your senior officers having this facility?
6. Why cannot your senior police officers (and yourself) drive themselves, (as do other public officials) in your own cars and claim a mileage allowance?
7. Do any of the cars used by the PCC or senior police officers have “retained” number plates? If YES, how many, at what cost and what is the claimed public benefit of having them?

On 29 May 2018 & 18 October 2018 PC 1834 used his BWV to record occasions when I attended a police station to make victim statements for ongoing investigations in other forces. I had not encountered Burns before but on both occasions his conduct was intentionally destructive to the purpose of each meeting. I made 2 SAR requests to obtain copies of the recordings. I was told the first time that his BWV unit had failed to record. This was a lie as during the second meetingthe PC admitted that he'd had the recording all along. I added this information to the second SAR request to obtain copies of both. Gwent police initially agreed to provide copies, then refused to provide those copies as Burns withheld permission. ICO supported Gwent's decision to prioritise PC's rights above mine, which means that I have no evidence to reportthe PCto Professional Standards for his aggressive abusive provocative behaviour unprovoked by me. I was not able to complete the statements I attended to make because of his disruptive attitude, comments, questions and actions. Had he behaved appropriately, this situation would not have arisen. The PC's face is not on the footage as he was wearing the BWV unit in operation. On what basis is he permitted to remain unreported for misconduct when the deemed owner of the videos is me, as the person who appears in them? The PChas repeatedly abused his position. His seniors, and ICO, are condoning an abuse of position, which brings Gwent police into disrepute. As Commissioner, this is a matter for your attention.
