Youth project delivers self-defence classes to young people

I was pleased to see two OPCC funded projects working together to deliver activities for young people in the Duffryn area of Newport.

The Duffryn Community Link provides support and diversionary activities for young people and has teamed up with Heads of the Valleys Tang Do So, based in Ebbw Vale, to offer a series of self-defence classes. The classes are helping young people to build confidence, while channelling their energy into positive physical activity.

It is fantastic to see these two projects working together for the benefit of the community.
