The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has agreed to extend the contract with Umbrella Cymru to provide an interim service for Children and Young People who are victims or witnesses of crime for an additional four months from 9th November 2018 until March 2019.

The cost will be £12,000 in total for the 4 month extension. This has been costed at £3,000 per month to provide 37.5 hours of staff support and all associated costs with providing the service.
