We will remember

Today we commemorate the many men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country in conflicts across the globe.

Our communities were home to many who lost their lives in the two great wars, and, sadly, many conflicts since. Many more have seen their friends and comrades make the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

It is our duty, on this day, to remember them and give our thanks and gratitude for their sacrifice.

I would like to take a moment and thank those veterans, and their families, for the important service they have given, and continue to give, to our country. We will remember them.
