Torfaen businesses staying cyber safe
Businesses from across Torfaen have taken part in a cyber security workshop to help improve their resilience in the face of growing cyber crime.
Detective Sergeant Lana Rees-Williams from Gwent Police’s cyber crime team updated attendees on some of the current scams targeting businesses in the UK, and what measures they can take to keep their networks safe.
Andy Dodge from the Wales Cyber Innovation Hub explained how businesses can tap into Welsh Government funded training to upskill staff to protect against cyber threats.
The event was hosted by Torfaen County Borough Council at its Springboard Business Innovation Centre and supported by the Wales Cyber Innovation Hub, Gwent Police, and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent.
