Pontypool Armed Forces Day

I was delighted to attend the reaffirmation parade of The Royal Welsh’s Freedom of the Borough of Torfaen.

 

The event was incorporated an Armed Forces Fun Day at Pontypool Park, where visitors gathered to celebrate this fantastic achievement.

 

I was pleased to see hundreds of visitors taking part in activities with our Armed Forces including Royal Artillery, Royal Navy, who go over and above to serve and protect our country.

 

I was especially pleased to see young cadets from a range of forces at the event.

 

They may well be our heroes in the future.
