Police and Crime Commissioner launches newsletter

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Jeff Cuthbert, has launched a new e-newsletter.

The fortnightly newsletter will keep residents in Gwent up to date with the activities of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office.

Jeff Cuthbert said: “This year promises to be a challenging one for Gwent Police. The removal of the Prince of Wales Bridge tolls, opening of the International Convention Centre Wales and, of course, Brexit all present uncertainties for local policing.

“This is in the context of increasing financial pressures and the continuing need to tackle areas such as serious organised crime while supporting some of the most vulnerable residents in our community.

“The newsletter will keep resident updated on how we are working to cut crime, support victims, and deliver an effective and efficient police service.”
