Police and Crime Commissioner elections

The next Police and Crime Commissioner elections will be held on Thursday 2 May 2024.
From Monday 25 March until Friday 3 May the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent is required to observe a pre-election period.
This is the period before an election when there are specific restrictions on communications activities for public bodies to avoid unfairly influencing the outcome of an election.
No significant decisions will be taken by the Police and Crime Commissioner during this time and only ‘business as usual’ documents, and notices relating to the election or public safety will be published on this website.
