On 4th December 2015, Former PC Jones and Former PC Evans were dismissed without notice following a hearing which found that they had breached a number of Standards of Professional Behaviour and that this amounted to Gross Misconduct. They have appealed against this outcome.

Appeals Outcome

The Police Appeals Tribunal allowed the appeal and quashed the original Panel's decision. They remitted the case back to a fresh Misconduct Panel for a full hearing.
