Help keep Gwent’s roads safe

Gwent Police’s new DRIVE initiative allows you to anonymously report anyone you suspect of driving under the influence of drink or drugs.

Simply text DRIVE to 66777 followed by as much of the following information as possible:

• Vehicle make and model.
• Driver’s name.
• Number plate.

In an emergency you should always call 999.

Gwent Police have, sadly, had to attend many fatal traffic collisions over the last 12 months that were directly caused by people under the influence of drink or drugs. This service is a quick and easy way to keep the roads safer.
