Engaging with older communities
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has been engaging with older residents across Gwent this week.
The team have visited 50+ forums in Abergavenny and Blaenavon to speak with residents about the development of the Commissioner’s new Police and Crime Plan, as well as local issues that may be concerning them.
Further sessions across Gwent are planned in coming weeks.
Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd said: “Engaging with our older residents is so important. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and have often lived within their communities for many years so have a deep understanding of the issues affecting local people.
“There is still time to give me your views and help me to develop a new Police and Crime Plan for Gwent, so please take a few minutes to complete my survey and have your say.”
