The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Jeff Cuthbert, has welcomed the appointment of four new Chief Superintendents at Gwent Police.

He said: “I would like to offer my congratulations to Gwent Police’s four new Chief Superintendents.

“Ch Supt Nicky Brain and Ch Supt Ian Roberts both have more than 20 years experience working for Gwent Police. My office has worked closely with both officers and I am always impressed with their dedication to serving the people of Gwent to the best of their ability.

“They are joined by Ch Supt Tom Harding from West Mercia Police, and Ch Supt Mark Hobrough from South Wales Police. Both officers are highly commended by their respective forces and bring a huge amount of experience to the roles. I am sure that they will be a huge asset to Gwent Police in the coming months and years.”
