Commissioner's work with registered social landlords highlighted as good practice

The latest newsletter looks at how housing organisations can work effectively with their Police and Crime Commissioners, and helps housing professionals understand the implications that the PCCs will have on tackling anti-social behaviour.

The work of the Commissioner has resulted in RSLs having a representative on the Commissioner's Community Safety Working Group and also the implementation of regular quarterly meetings between Mr Johnston and Registered Social Landlords in Gwent: "I'm pleased we have established a very good working relationship. It makes perfect sense for policing and housing to work closely together and I intend to continue the good work. I hope that the work we have done will prove beneficial to other organisations and I look forward to further developing relationships with local partners"
