Commissioner meets members of Newport Deaf Club

Over 50 people came to the meeting and they shared their concerns with the Commissioner.

Mr Johnston would like to thank the members for attending: "I'd like to thank the members of the Newport Deaf Club for coming to meet me and sharing their concerns with me. It's important for me to meet with as many members of the community as possible to help shape my priorities and to make sure we are providing a service for everyone. We'll be following up on a number of actions that came out of the meeting and we'll be providing updates to them when we meet with them again"
