Blaenavon Mini Police carry out road safety patrols

As part of Road Safety Week 2019 children from Blaenavon Heritage School’s Heddlu Bach Mini Police have been carrying out parking patrols at the school.

The Heddlu Bach are helping to keep their school friends and other pedestrians safe by encouraging drivers to avoid parking on yellow lines, in bus bays and on the kerbs around the school.

They are being supported by Gwent Police CSOs and Torfaen Council’s enforcement officers.
