Thank you for your request.  We have handled your request under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIRs). If the police estate has been surveyed to see whether its buildings contain Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)?

-If so, when the surveys took place?

Yes, the surveys were completed in February 2023


-How many buildings were identified as containing the material?

There were no buildings within the Gwent Estate found to contain RAAC.


-What, if any, action has been taken as a result of the findings?

 No follow up actions required at this time.


-How much money has been spent on such action to date?

£2500 for the survey.


-What is the total estimated future cost of action to deal with RAAC?

Not applicable
