Two duties are placed on public authorities under Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). I am currently working on a project for the xxxxxx in which I am collating information on the number of incidents attended by emergency services caused by carbon monoxide (CO) from solid fuels (such as log/pellet burner, solid fuel fired Asa etc.) and gas (such as gas cooker, gas fire, gas boiler etc.).

Please could you provide the following information for Gwent Police?

Please could you provide the number, and if no number is available please include a relevant response e.g. not available or not recorded.

Total number for all incidents attended by Gwent Police:

1) What are the total number of all incidents attended within the last three-year period?
2) What are the total number of injuries from all incidents (this includes those treated by police or treated in hospital) attended within the last three-year period?
3) What are the total number of deaths from all incidents attended within the last three-year period?

Numbers for incidents involving carbon monoxide (CO):

1) What are the total number of incidents for CO attended within the last three-year period?
2) What are the total number of injuries from all CO incidents attended within the last three-year period?
