Supplier E (PVL UK Ltd) scored the highest following the completion of a Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) process. The framework will be awarded for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for an additional 1 year period.

The contract will be for a 3 year period commencing 1st December 2015 until 30th November 2018 with the option to extend up to a further 12 months until 30 November 2019.

The Joint Audit Committee Annual Report for 2014-15 was produced to coincide with and support the publication of the Statement of Accounts.

The contract is awarded for 6 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months subject to funding.

The Commissioner has been asked to approve the request to extend the current contract for a 6 month period in accordance with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent Standing Orders relating to Contracts, paragraph 122(b).

In January 2013, the Commissioner decided to implement a stop and search dip-sampling procedure to be undertaken on his behalf by a dip-sampling group (Decision Log Number PCCG-2013-001) consisting of members from the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) who undertake the exercise as members of the community. A total of 200 stop and search records, selected at random, were examined during the exercise with the results fed back to the Force.
