New Report Fraud service launched to tackle cyber crime and fraud

The City of London Police has launched Report Fraud, a new national service designed to strengthen the fight against cyber crime and fraud.

Report Fraud replaces Action Fraud and the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau, offering a streamlined and more effective approach to reporting and tackling these crimes.

The new service consists of three key elements:

• Report Fraud contact centre and reporting tool. Victims can report incidents of cyber crime and fraud quickly and easily.
• Report Fraud national crime analysis service. A new system that gives all police forces access to enhanced data analysis.
• Report Fraud victim service. Providing dedicated specialist support for victims.
