Help shape the future of policing in Gwent
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent and Gwent Police are seeking experienced professionals to join their Joint Audit Committee and contribute to the future direction of policing.
The Joint Audit Committee provides independent advice and assurance on the effectiveness of the internal control environment across both organisations. Members play a key role in scrutinising governance arrangements, and reviewing new or proposed policies, strategies, and risk management processes.
Candidates should have strong experience in public sector legislation, organisational governance, and strategic oversight.
The Committee sits a minimum of five times per year and members will receive a fee of £211.50 for a full-day meeting, with travel expenses reimbursed.
