Gwent Police long service awards
Police officers and staff who have served the communities of Gwent for almost a quarter of a century have been recognised at special ceremony.
Gwent Police’s Long Service Awards celebrates police officers and staff who have served with the force for more than 20 years.
The ceremony was held at Rodney Parade on Friday 19 September.
Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd said: “Reaching 20 years of service is a huge milestone in a anyone’s career, particularly in policing where officers and staff will have faced challenges unlike those of any other profession.
“During this time these hardworking and dedicated public servants have helped to make Gwent one of the safest places to live in the country, and played their part in helping Gwent Police fulfil its commitment to protect and reassure our communities.
“I want to thank these officers and staff, on behalf of myself but also on behalf of our residents, for their hard work, dedication and commitment over the last 20 years, and their continued service.”
