College of Policing board appointment

I am delighted to have been appointed to the board of the College of Policing.

The College of Policing is a professional body which is responsible for setting the standards for policing, supporting the professional development of officers and staff, and developing and sharing knowledge and good practice.

In my role as a non-executive director, I will help to provide oversight and scrutiny on this work. As a former Welsh Government minister for skills and technology I am passionate about these areas of work, and I look forward to working with colleagues and playing a role in the development of UK policing going forward.
