Applications open for Gwent High Sheriff Community Fund
Community groups, voluntary organisations or charities in Gwent can apply for grants of up to £5000 from the Gwent High Sheriff Community Fund for projects that support children and young people, and help reduce crime and improve safety in their community.
Successful applicants will be decided at a participatory grant making event in March 2025 which allows local people to decide which initiatives would best address local issues.
The office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has invested £65,000 into the fund.
Police and Crime Commissioner Jane Mudd said: “I’m pleased to be supporting the Gwent High Sheriff Community Fund again this year. This funding will help grassroots organisations continue their vital work with young people across our communities.
If your group is delivering a project that creates positive opportunities for children and young people, especially those that steer them away from crime and antisocial behaviour, I strongly encourage you to apply. Together, we can make a real and lasting difference.”
