Thank you for your recent request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000.

 

Two duties are placed on public authorities under Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). Notwithstanding applicable exemptions, the first duty at, Section 1(1) (a), is to confirm or deny whether the information specified in a request is held. I notice that the new Police HQ has opened in Llantarnam

 

Please can you let me know when the old Police HQ will close completely.

 

The move of departments from the old HQ to the new HQ is still in progress.  Currently the expectation is that the decommissioning of the old HQ would take place in April 2023.  This information has been published in the Joint Audit Committee minutes on the OPCC website and can be found using the following link: 9th March 2022 | Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner (pcc.police.uk)
