Although we are able to provide information in relation to the roles of the Police and Crime Commissioner, the Chief Finance Officer and the Chief Executive in terms of  pay, pension, bonuses and benefits in kind as we have a statutory duty to publish this information (please see links below to the relevant pages of the Statement of Accounts), this does not apply to other roles within the Commissioner’s office.  Any monetary payment given to individuals as part of their salary is considered personal information thereby engaging exemption s40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act. This requires the processing of personal data to be lawful, fair and transparent.  Therefore, we are not able to provide the requested information for all job titles as this would contravene data protection principle (a) ‘processing personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to a data subject’.
