Can you please tell me the total spent on branded PCC merchandise by the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner since November 2012?

 

Could you furthermore tell me how many branded items have been purchased, the type of items purchased and the amount spent per year?

Thank you for your recent request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

 

Two duties are placed on public authorities under Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). Notwithstanding applicable exemptions, the first duty at, Section 1(1) (a), is to confirm or deny whether the information specified in a request is held. The second duty at, Section1 (1) (b), is to disclose information that has been confirmed as being held. Under the provisions of those sections of the FOIA, we can confirm that the information you seek is partly held by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent. When purchasing branded merchandise we ensure there is a link to the priorities within the Police and Crime Plan.  Please note that we are able to claim the cost of VAT back.

 

Merchandise was purchased on behalf of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner by the Gwent Police Corporate Communications Team until 2017.  You may wish to submit an FOI request to
