The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has recorded the decision to award grants from the PCC’s Community Fund for the 2026/27 financial year.

The 2026/27 Fund was launched in December 2025 with 28 applications being submitted totalling to an amount of £816,572 for the 2026/27 period.
Following a robust assessment process conducted within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, at the December 2025 review Panel, 16 projects have been successful in receiving funding, totalling £443,826.
These awards in conjunction with the ring-fenced previously successful multi-year awards brings the overall allocation of 2026/27 funding to a total of £794,033 The additional funding over and above the annual £500,000 has been agreed to be paid out of my ‘Commissioning Strategy and Force Initiatives’ Committed Fund on this occasion, due to the high standard of applications received.
