The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has approved the Treasury Management Strategy for 2018-19 to 2020-21 and the Treasury Management Practices.

Treasury Management covers borrowing, investing, banking and cash flow management. The Commissioner is required to adopt and comply with the CIPFA Prudential Code for Capital Finance in Local Authorities and the CIPFA Code of Practice on Treasury Management. The Treasury Management Strategy and the Treasury Management Practices have been agreed in order to comply with the codes.
