The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has agreed to provide £6,000 to the South East Wales Safeguarding Children's Board (SEWSCB) to provide a regional Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) awareness raising campaign in 2015/16.

Details:

A national theatre company will be utilised to perform a play on the issues of CSE to year 8 pupils in 36 secondary schools in Gwent. Each of the schools has also committed £350 of funding to the total cost of the project which is £23,622. SEWCSB will need to ensure that the shortfall in funding is met.
