Two duties are placed on public authorities under Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). Notwithstanding applicable exemptions, the first duty at, Section 1(1) (a), is to confirm or deny whether the information specified in a request is held. 1. The Chief Executive role for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has been changed to that of the Chief of Staff. The salary can be found on our website

2. 1st January 2016 as Acting Chief of Staff. Her appointment to the permanent position was discussed by the Police and Crime Panel at their meeting on 22nd January 2017 with final approval being provided to the Police and Crime Commissioner on 27th January 2017.
