2014/15
£628,313.64 + £132,396.60 (DIP) + £68,656.47 (3 Secondments) = £829,366.71.

This cost also includes the Deputy Police &Crime Commissioner. It is difficult to compare the cost of the OPCC with the Police Authority as the OPCC has a much wider remit including responsibility and funding for areas such as the Commissioning of various services. Funding not previously received by the Police Authority for areas such as the Drugs Intervention Programme and Community Safety Partnerships (among others) have now become the responsibility of the Police and Crime Commissioner. These extra responsibilities are therefore reflected in the running costs of the OPCC.
