HOW TO REQUEST A REVIEW OF A COMPLAINT DEALT WITH BY GWENT POLICE

All complaints submitted against a police officer or police staff member must have been dealt with by Gwent Police prior to submission for review by the OPCC, details relating to who the Appropriate Authority is to consider a review of your complaint will be included in your outcome letter.  You have 28 days from the date of your outcome letter in which a request for a review can be made.

If you wish to request a review please complete the appropriate form and send it to the PCC by:

Once the OPCC has reviewed your complaint, there will be no further right of review.  If you do not believe the review has been dealt with in accordance with the law, then you could consider a judicial reviewA judicial review will not overturn the outcome of your review.
