MEDIUM TERM FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS

The Medium Term Financial Projections (MTFP) should provide a clear and concise view of future financial sustainability and the decisions that need to be made in order to address any gaps in long-term funding and options to address any funding deficit.  The MTFP is scrutinised by the statutory Chief Finance Officers, Joint Audit CommitteeStrategy and Performance Board and the Police and Crime Panel.


STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS

The purpose of the Statement of Accounts is to provide information about the financial position, performance, management accountability of resources, risks and uncertainties of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent (PCC) which is useful to a wide range of users.

Users of the financial statements may include the public, Government, grant-awarding bodies, employees, customers, suppliers and contractors of the Commissioner.


ANNUAL AUDIT LETTER

The Annual Audit Letter summarises the conclusions on the audit of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent's and the Chief Constable for Gwent Police’s financial statements.


TREASURY MANAGEMENT STRATEGY

Treasury Management is the management of cash flows, banking, money market and capital market transactions; the management of the associated risks, and the pursuit of the optimum performance or return consistent with those risks.
