Model Publication Scheme
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities have to produce a Publication Scheme. The Model Publication Scheme employed by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has been prepared and approved by the Information Commissioner.
The Publication Scheme commits us to make information available to the public as part of our normal business activities. Please view our Guide to Information for an overview of the documents available under this Scheme.
Responsibilities for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner Publication Scheme
The Chief of Staff of the Commissioner's office has overall responsibility for our Publication Scheme. The Information Officer is responsible for maintaining and managing the scheme.
The Aim of the Scheme
The aim of the Publication Scheme is to set out:
- What information the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner publishes or intends to publish as a matter of course.
- How we will publish this information.
- Whether the information will be available free of charge or on payment.
