The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Jeff Cuthbert, holds regular, confidential surgeries where you can talk to him about his role and responsibilities and/or any policing or wider community safety issues.
Surgeries are divided into 10 minute appointments, during which Mr Cuthbert will be accompanied by a member of his office and a Gwent Police Officer. However, you can request that you meet with the Commissioner alone if you so wish. You may also bring along a friend or family member to support you.
Before your meeting, you will be asked for details around the topic you wish to raise with the Commissioner so that we can prepare any information in advance (if necessary). It is important to note that the Commissioner himself cannot intervene in any operational matters as these fall within the remit of the Chief Constable.
Surgery dates are organised around Gwent once a month. Details of future surgeries can be found below:
- 19th November 2016 - VanGuard Centre, Caerphilly
- 14th January 2017 - Duffryn Community Centre, Newport
- 18th February 2017 - Ebbw Vale Library, Blaenau Gwent
- 11th March 2017 - Shire Hall, Monmouthshire
- May 2017 - Torfaen
