The Public Response Unit

What is the purpose of the Public Response Unit?

We are responsible for facilitating the swift resolution of your dissatisfaction or concern by liaising with the appropriate point of contact within Gwent Police.

We aim to resolve your dissatisfaction or concern as quickly and effectively as possible in order to prevent it escalating into a complaint.

We will influence service improvements by identifying trends where services may need improving.

Procedure for Complaints related to Welsh Language Standards Compliance

We also welcome compliments in relation to excellent service provided by officers or members of staff.

Even though we aim to ensure the public benefit from a first class service, we know there are still ways we can improve and are interested in hearing your suggestions.
